Office Bingo Card Generator

Meeting, buzzword and team building bingo for work – print the cards or send each colleague a card for a video call.

This free office bingo generator makes printable bingo cards for work games such as buzzword bingo, meeting bingo and team building bingo. It runs in your web browser with no sign-up, and nothing is uploaded, so the cards are made on your own device.

The page opens with a ready-made Office list of 48 moments, so you can print cards straight away, or you can replace the words with your own. Choose a 3 × 3, 4 × 4 or 5 × 5 grid and the number of cards you need. You can print them, or use the virtual bingo page so that remote colleagues each open their own card on screen. Every card in a set has a different set of squares.

How to make office bingo cards

  1. Check the word list. The page opens in My words mode with the Office preset loaded. To start from a different preset, click Meeting bingo, Buzzwords or Find a coworker who…
  2. Edit the words, one item per line. To print one text on the card and another on the call list, write card text | call text.
  3. Choose a grid size: 3 × 3, 4 × 4 or 5 × 5. A 5 × 5 card with a free space needs 24 different items. A 4 × 4 card needs 16, and a 3 × 3 card with a free space needs 8. A short list shows how many more you need.
  4. For 3 × 3 and 5 × 5 grids, switch the free space on or off and change its text if you like. The default is FREE. A 4 × 4 grid has no centre square.
  5. Set the number of cards, from 1 to 500 (default 10).
  6. Check each card in the preview with Previous and Next.
  7. Pick your print options: 1, 2 or 4 cards per page, US Letter or A4 paper, a card title, an optional letters row, an optional card number and one of six colours.
  8. Click Print cards. Click Print call list for a shuffled calling order with tick boxes, plus the full list in order so you can check a winner.

New set gives fresh random cards with a new game code. Copy link reopens the same cards, including your word list. To save the cards as a PDF, choose Save as PDF in the print dialog and set the scale to 100%, not fit to page, so the cards print at full size.

What is buzzword bingo?

Buzzword bingo is a game where everyone has a card of corporate jargon and marks a square each time someone says that phrase in a meeting. The first player to complete a line wins. The Buzzwords preset includes phrases such as Synergy, Move the needle, Low-hanging fruit and Circle the wagons.

The game works because the same phrases come up again and again in work talk. Players listen for the words on their card, so a short meeting can still keep everyone’s attention.

How to play meeting bingo on a video call?

Meeting bingo follows the same rules as buzzword bingo, but the squares describe things that happen on calls. Examples from the Meeting bingo preset include “You’re on mute”, Wrong window shared, “I have a hard stop” and Silence after “Any questions?”. Players mark a square when the event happens in the call.

Remote teams can use the virtual bingo page, which gives one player link for everyone. Each colleague opens a card in their own browser and marks squares on screen. You can also print cards and hand them out before a meeting.

How does team building bingo with find a coworker who work?

Team building bingo, based on the Find a coworker who… preset, has no caller. Colleagues talk to each other and write the name of a coworker who matches a square, such as Speaks three languages, Plays chess or Has a hidden talent. A name goes in a square only when that person truly fits it.

The game suits onboarding, offsites and holiday parties, because people have to start conversations to finish their cards.

Is it OK to play office bingo at work?

Yes, as long as the game stays light and the squares describe situations, habits or jargon rather than a particular person. Squares such as Free food in the kitchen, Printer jam or “This could have been an email” are about shared work life. Keep the traits in a team building game positive or neutral, and leave out anything about a person’s looks, age or private life.

Yes. Every card in a set is different, with no two cards having the same set of squares. With 48 office items and a 5 × 5 card with a free space, there are 32,247,603,683,100 different sets of 24 squares, and the tool checks that no two cards in a set match. For remote play, the virtual bingo page gives one player link; each colleague who opens it gets a different card in their own browser. The Copy link button on this page does something else: it reopens this exact set of printable cards.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make cards without typing a word list?

Yes. Use the Office preset or another preset list, or choose Numbers 1–75 or Numbers 1–90 for number cards. Choose Blank if you want empty squares to fill in by hand.

What does the card number like K7Q2MX-1 mean?

If you turn on the card number, each card shows the game code followed by the card’s position in the set. The same game code and settings always produce the same cards, so you can use the number to match a card to your records.

Can I use these cards for events other than work?

Yes. Change the word list to suit the event. For a seasonal game, see the holiday bingo page.

Can I use the cards for a bingo caller game?

Yes. Click Use with the online caller to open the bingo caller page with the same game and word list. You can also use the printed call list if you prefer to call the numbers or phrases yourself.

How long does a game of office bingo take?

It depends on the list. Meeting bingo usually runs for one meeting, while a team building card can run for a whole day or an offsite. Agree on the end time and the prize before you start.
