Music Bingo Card Generator
Make song bingo cards from a playlist: titles on the cards, title and artist on the host's call list.
Music bingo is a game where each square on the card shows a song title instead of a number. This Music Bingo card generator makes printable music bingo cards in your web browser. It is free, needs no sign-up, and nothing you enter is uploaded, because the cards are made on your own device.
You can start from one of three preset playlists (Christmas songs, 80s hits or 90s hits) or paste your own song list. Then choose the grid size, the number of cards and the print settings. The result is a set of different cards for a party, a classroom or a family game night.
How to use the Music Bingo card generator
- Choose your content. Select My words to use your own playlist, or pick a preset: Christmas songs (48 songs), 80s hits (48) or 90s hits (47).

What is music bingo?
Music bingo is a bingo game where the squares show song titles instead of numbers. The host plays a short clip of each song in random order, and players mark a title when they recognise it. Song bingo and musical bingo are other names for the same game.
The rules of the game are the same as normal bingo. The first player to complete the agreed pattern calls out and wins.
How to play music bingo?
Each player gets a card, and the host gets the call list. The host plays a short clip from a song without saying the title. Players mark any square whose title they recognise.
When a player has completed the pattern, they call out. The host checks the winner’s card against the full list in order, which is printed on the call list. If the card matches, that player wins the round.
How many songs do I need for music bingo?
You need at least 24 songs for a 5 × 5 card with a free space, because that card uses 24 different titles. If you only have 24 songs, every card is the same, so use about 40 to 75 songs instead. That gives each player a different card and a game of a sensible length. The preset playlists each hold 47 or 48 songs, which is inside that range.
What songs are good for music bingo?
Choose songs that most players will recognise from a few seconds of audio. Well-known hits work better than deep cuts, because players need to name the song quickly. If your group spans several generations, mix decades so that everyone has songs they know.
Titles should be short and clear so they fit on a square. Examples from the presets include All I Want for Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey, Billie Jean by Michael Jackson and Wonderwall by Oasis.
How to make a music bingo game?
Start by listing your songs in a text file, one per line, with the card title and the artist. Check that each song is easy to find in your music app, and make sure each clip starts at a point where the song is clearly recognisable.
Next, paste the list into the word list box, choose the grid, and set the number of cards. Print the cards and the call list. The tool does not play music, so the host plays the songs from their own app or speaker, in the order shown on the shuffled call list.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this for Christmas music bingo?
Yes. Select the Christmas songs preset, which has 48 songs. You can also paste your own festive list to mix in other seasonal tracks.
Does the tool play the music?
No. The tool only makes cards and a call list. Play the songs from your own music app or speaker, and use the printed call list as your playing order.
Are the songs I type uploaded anywhere?
No. Nothing is uploaded, because the cards are made on your device. The Copy link button stores your word list in the link itself, so the same cards open again.
Why are all my cards the same?
Your list has exactly 24 songs, which makes only one different 5 × 5 card with a free space. Add more songs, about 40 to 75, so that the cards differ. The tool tells you how many different cards are possible.
Can I print on A4 paper?
Yes. The print options include US Letter and A4. Choose the paper size before you click Print cards.
How do I save the cards as a PDF?
Click Print cards, then choose Save as PDF as the printer. Set the scale to 100% rather than “fit to page”, so the cards print at full size.
