Family Bingo Card Generator

Printable family bingo for a family bingo night or a reunion: activity squares, find-a-relative-who squares, pictures or your own family photos.

Family bingo is a printable bingo game built around things your family does, knows, or shares. This free bingo card generator makes family bingo cards in your web browser, with no sign-up. Nothing is uploaded, because the cards are made on your device. The page opens with the Family fun list loaded, so you can start printing right away. You can also switch to a Family reunion list, a Family pictures list, or a list you type yourself. Family photos can go on the squares too. Pick a grid size, choose how many cards you need, and print. The same tool works for a family bingo night at home or a free printable family reunion bingo game with cousins who have not met before.

How to make family bingo cards

  1. The page opens in My words mode with the Family fun list. To use another list, choose Family reunion or Family pictures.
  2. Edit the word list box. Put one item on each line, and add or delete items as you like. To show one thing on the card and another on the call list, write it as “card text | call text”.
  3. Choose a grid size: 3 × 3, 4 × 4 or 5 × 5.
  4. For 3 × 3 or 5 × 5, switch on the free space if you want a centre square. Change its text from FREE if you like. A 4 × 4 grid has no free space.
  5. Check the item count. If the list is too short, the tool tells you how many more items it needs.
  6. Set the number of cards, from 1 to 500 (the default is 10).
  7. To use photos, open Use your own pictures and choose up to 120 image files.
  8. Set the print options: cards per page (1, 2 or 4), paper size, card title, letters row, card number and colour.
  9. Use Previous and Next to check each card in the preview.
  10. Click Print cards. For the caller, click Print call list.

New set makes fresh random cards with a new game code. Copy link keeps your exact cards and word list, so you can send the same game to someone else. To save a PDF, choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog and set the scale to 100%, not “fit to page.”

How does family bingo work?

Family bingo works like classic bingo. Each card has a grid of squares, and each square holds an item from your list, such as “Movie night” or “Dog.” A caller reads items from the call list, and players mark any matching square. The first player to complete a line, or a full card, wins.

The tool makes sure that the cards in one set are not copies of each other. No two cards share the same set of squares, so players see different patterns and the game stays fair. The same game code and settings always produce the same cards, which is why Copy link can recreate a set exactly (pictures you add from your device are not in the link and have to be chosen again).

How many different cards can one set make?

A set can only contain as many different cards as your list allows. The number depends on how many items you have and how many squares each card needs. A 5 × 5 card with a free space uses 24 items, so a list with more items gives many more possible cards.

The reunion list is a good example. Its 34 squares can produce 131,128,140 different sets of 24 squares. That is far more than any family needs. If your list is too short to make the number of cards you asked for, the tool tells you how many different cards are possible.

What goes on a family bingo card?

The Family fun list has 36 things to do together, such as Build a pillow fort, Bake cookies and Stargazing; use it as a weekend or holiday challenge card where the family marks each activity when it is done. The Family pictures list has 30 emoji with a word for children who cannot read yet, and Numbers 1–75 gives classic bingo for a family bingo night.

Frequently asked questions

How do I plan a family bingo night?

Print one card for each person, from 1 to 500. Use Numbers 1–75 for classic bingo, or write a list of family activities. Call the numbers from the printed call list, or use the online caller. Give small prizes or snacks for each line.

Can I use family photos on the cards?

Yes. Open Use your own pictures and choose image files from your device, up to 120. Each picture becomes a square, and its name comes from the file name. Pictures stay on your device and are never uploaded, so you will need to choose them again after reloading the page.

What prizes work for family bingo?

Small prizes or snacks for each line or full card work well. Keep the prizes simple, so everyone gets a turn to win. Younger players often enjoy a prize for every line, not just the final winner.

How does family reunion bingo work?

Family reunion bingo has no caller. Each player walks around, finds a relative who matches a square, and writes that person’s name in it. The first person to complete a line or a full card wins. It gives cousins and other relatives a reason to talk to each other.

How many cards do I need for a big reunion?

Print one card for each guest, up to 500 in one set. To save paper, print 2 or 4 cards per page. If you need more cards than the list can make different, the tool will tell you the limit.

Can I save the cards as a PDF?

Yes. Click Print cards, then choose “Save as PDF” as the printer. Set the scale to 100% so the cards print at full size.
