Emoji Bingo Card Generator

Printable emoji bingo with faces, food and fun emoji – or paste your own – every card different, plus a call list.

Emoji bingo is a game where each card’s squares show emoji pictures instead of numbers, and players mark them off as the caller reads them out. This free emoji bingo card generator makes printable cards right in your web browser. There is no sign-up, and nothing is uploaded, because the cards are made on your own device.

The page opens with a preset list of face emoji, so you can print a set straight away. You can switch to food, things or animal emoji, or type your own list. Emoji with a word, such as 🐶 Dog, print both the picture and the word. Cards work well for family game nights, classrooms, parties and team warm-ups.

Every card in a set has a different mix of squares, so no two cards match.

How to play emoji bingo

Each player gets a card with emoji squares. The caller picks an item from the call list and shows or reads it out. Players find the matching emoji on their card and mark it. The first player to mark a full line calls out “bingo” and wins.

A line can run across a row, down a column or along a diagonal. On a 3 × 3 or 5 × 5 card with a free space, the centre square counts as marked from the start, so it can help complete a line. The caller then checks the winner’s card against the full list in order. Printing the call list gives the caller a shuffled order to read from.

Emoji bingo also works for guessing games. In a “guess the feeling” round, the caller acts out a face emoji and players find the matching square. You can run emoji movie titles the same way, with one picture for each film.

Why do the emoji look different on my phone

Emoji are drawn with the device’s own emoji font. Apple, Android and Windows each have their own designs, so the same emoji looks slightly different on each. The printout uses the font of the device you print from. A card printed from a Windows PC may look a little different from one printed from an iPhone.

This does not change which emoji is on the card. If you want every card to look the same, print the whole set from one device.

Which emoji work best for bingo?

Pick emoji that look clearly different at a glance. Many face emoji differ only in the eyes or mouth, which is fine for older players but hard for young children; for them, mix faces with food, animals and things, or use the Animal pictures list, which adds a word under each emoji. Newer emoji may not exist on older phones and computers, so test-print one card before you print the whole set.

How do I put my own emoji on bingo cards?

Paste or type your emoji into the word list, one per line. On a phone, use the emoji keyboard. On Windows, press Windows key + . and on a Mac, press Control + Command + Space. You can mix emoji and words, such as 🍕 Pizza.

How many emoji does each card need?

A 5 × 5 card with a free space needs 24 different items, or 25 without one. A 4 × 4 card needs 16. A 3 × 3 card needs 8 with a free space or 9 without. If your list is too short, the tool tells you how many more to add.

Will every card in a set be different?

Yes. No two cards in a set have the same squares. If your list is too short for the number of cards you asked for, the tool tells you how many different cards are possible. With 40 emoji on a 5 × 5 card with a free space, there are 62,852,101,650 different sets of 24 squares.
