Baseball Bingo Card Generator

Printable baseball bingo for the stands or the couch: mark home runs, double plays and the seventh-inning stretch as they happen.

Baseball bingo is a game where each player marks squares on a card when plays or sights happen at a ballgame, and this free bingo card generator makes printable baseball bingo cards in your web browser. There is no sign-up, and the cards are made on your own device, so nothing is uploaded. The page opens with a baseball word list loaded, so you can print a set in a few clicks or change the words to suit your game.

Use it for a game on TV or at the ballpark. Every card in a set is different, so each person has their own chance to shout bingo. Choose a 3 × 3, 4 × 4 or 5 × 5 grid, pick how many cards you need, and print them on US Letter or A4 paper.

How to make baseball bingo cards

  1. Open the page. The word list box already holds the baseball preset. Edit it so it has one item per line, adding or deleting items as you like.
  2. Choose a grid size: 3 × 3, 4 × 4 or 5 × 5. For 3 × 3 and 5 × 5, switch on the free space (the centre square) if you want one, and change its text from FREE if you prefer.
  3. Set the number of cards, from 1 to 500 per set. The default is 10.
  4. Pick your print options: 1, 2 or 4 cards per page, US Letter or A4 paper, the card title (it starts as BASEBALL BINGO), an optional letters row, an optional card number, and one of six colours.
  5. Click New set to get new random cards with a new game code. Use Previous and Next to look through the cards one at a time.
  6. Click Print cards. If you want a shuffled calling order with tick boxes, click Print call list instead; it also includes the full list in order for checking a winner.

Copy link opens exactly the same cards again, including your word list, so you can share the game with others. Use with the online caller opens the bingo caller page with the same game and list. To save as PDF, choose Save as PDF as the printer and set the scale to 100%, not “fit to page”, so the cards print at full size.

How to play baseball bingo during a game

Everyone gets a different card and marks a square whenever the matching thing happens, either on the field or in the stands. This works whether you are at the game or watching on TV. No caller is needed, so players just watch the game and mark squares as they go.

Agree before the first pitch on what wins. Because each player marks their own card, it helps to check each other’s squares when someone calls bingo.

What goes on a baseball bingo card

Each square holds one item from your word list. The Baseball game preset has 36 plays and moments, such as Strikeout, Home run, Grand slam, Double play, Stolen base, Sacrifice fly, Wild pitch and Extra innings. The At the ballpark preset adds sights and snacks such as Hot dog, Peanuts, Foam finger, Scoreboard, Dugout, Bullpen and Kiss cam.

Some squares come up often, like foul ball or strikeout, and some are rare, like grand slam. Card size sets how many items you need: 24 for a 5 × 5 card with a free space, 16 for 4 × 4, and 8 for 3 × 3 with a free space. If your list is too short, the tool tells you how many more are needed.

How do you win baseball bingo

A player wins by marking a full line of squares across, down or diagonally. Other patterns you can agree on are four corners, or a blackout, where every square on the card must be marked.

A blackout takes a long time, and because some squares are rare, it may take the whole game or may never happen. Decide the pattern before the game starts so there is no argument at the end.

Can kids play baseball bingo with picture cards?

Yes. The Baseball pictures preset uses 30 emoji with a word, such as ⚾ Baseball, 🧢 Cap, 🧤 Glove and 🌭 Hot dog. Children who cannot read yet can match the pictures on their cards.

A 3 × 3 card is quick to fill, which suits younger players and shorter games. You can also add your own emoji to the word list.

Is baseball bingo an official MLB game?

No. This tool and its lists are not official MLB content, and they include no team or player names. You can add your team’s players or traditions to the word list yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make different baseball bingo cards for each player?

Yes. Every card in a set is different, so no two cards have the same squares. If your word list is too short to make as many different cards as you asked for, the tool tells you how many different cards are possible.

Can I use the baseball bingo cards with an online caller?

Yes. Click Use with the online caller to open the bingo caller page with the same game and word list. This is optional, since the game works without a caller.

Can I get the same baseball bingo cards again later?

Yes. The same game code and settings always produce the same cards, so you can use Copy link to reopen exactly the same set, including your word list.

How do I print baseball bingo cards at full size?

Choose Save as PDF as the printer in the print dialog, and set the scale to 100% rather than “fit to page”. This keeps the cards at their full printed size.

Can I make ballpark bingo cards with my own words?

Yes. Edit the word list so it has one item per line. If you write “card text | call text”, the left part prints on the card and the right part goes on the call list, which is useful for a clue or a shorter label.
