90 Ball Bingo – Free Practice Game
Play UK-style 90-ball bingo in your browser: daub your tickets as the numbers are called and claim one line, two lines and a full house.
90 ball bingo is the UK-style bingo game with tickets of 15 numbers and numbers called from 1 to 90. This free 90-ball bingo game runs in your web browser, so you can play a practice round of UK-style 90-ball bingo straight from this page. There is nothing to download and no sign-up. You can play alone or add computer players, set how fast the numbers are called, and choose whether your tickets are marked for you.
90-ball bingo is the version used in the UK, Ireland and Australia. Each player holds tickets of 15 numbers, and a caller draws numbers from 1 to 90. The first player to complete a line, two lines or a full house on one ticket wins that prize. The game is useful for learning the rules before you play with friends, or for practising at different call speeds.
How to play 90-ball bingo online
- Set Your tickets from 1 to 6. The default is 3. Your tickets come from one strip, so no number appears on two of them.
- Choose Computer players: None (just me), 5, 20 or 50. The default is 20. Each computer player holds 1 to 6 tickets.
- Pick a Call speed: Manual, or every 2, 3, 5 or 8 seconds. The default is every 3 seconds.
- Decide on Auto-daub my tickets. It is off by default, so you tap each called number yourself, as at a real hall.
- Keep Show bingo call names on if you want traditional calls, such as “Two fat ladies” for 88, shown under the ball. Turn on Say numbers aloud if you want the browser’s voice to read each number.
- Begin the game. Ticket count and computer players are fixed once it starts, so use New game to change them.
- In Manual mode, press Next number or the Space key to call the next number. In timed mode, use Pause and Resume to control the pace.
- Mark each called number on your tickets, and watch the ‘N to go’ line on each ticket.
- When a ticket shows ‘Ready to claim’, press Claim. The button shows the current prize, such as “Claim one line!”. If the game answers ‘Not yet’, keep playing.
The Space key is the quickest way to call numbers in Manual mode. You can fold away the 1–90 number board when you need more room on screen. Your settings are kept in the page address.
What is 90-ball bingo and how is it played (UK rules)
90-ball bingo is a game of chance in which each player marks off numbers on their tickets as a caller draws them from 1 to 90. Each ticket has 3 rows and 9 columns, with 5 numbers and 4 blanks in every row, so 15 numbers in total. Column 1 holds 1–9, column 2 holds 10–19, and so on up to column 9, which holds 80–90. A strip of six tickets contains every number from 1 to 90 exactly once.
What are one line, two lines and full house?
These are the three prizes in a 90-ball game, and they are won in that order. One line goes to a complete row on one ticket, two lines goes to two complete rows on the same ticket, and full house goes to all 15 numbers on one ticket. Only the current prize can be claimed, and the game ends once the full house is won.
How is 90-ball bingo different from 75-ball bingo?
The main differences are the ticket layout and how prizes are won. 90-ball bingo, used in the UK, Ireland and Australia, uses tickets of 3 by 9 with 15 numbers and three prizes per game. 75-ball bingo, used in the USA and Canada, uses 5 by 5 cards with B-I-N-G-O columns and a free centre square, and it is played for patterns.
Is this real-money bingo?
No. This tool is a free practice game with no money and no prizes. It needs no sign-up or download, and nothing is sent to a server. The prizes in the results list belong only to this practice game.
What is a sleeper or missed claim?
A sleeper, or missed claim, happens when one of your tickets had the current prize complete but you did not press Claim before the next number was called. The game then tells you “You missed it”, giving the ticket and the number. Because only the current prize can be claimed, a missed prize cannot be claimed later.
Does the game save if I close the page?
Progress is saved in your browser, so reloading the page continues the game where it left off. To start over, press New game, which asks first with ‘Yes, new game’ or ‘Keep playing’.
Frequently asked questions
How many 90 ball bingo cards can I play with?
You can hold between 1 and 6 tickets, and the default is 3. Your tickets come from one strip, so none of them share a number.
Do computer players win too?
Yes. Computer players claim automatically as soon as one of their tickets completes the current prize, and the game announces it. If one of your tickets is also complete, you can still claim before the next number is called and share the prize.
What does ‘Not yet’ mean when I press Claim?
Your claim is checked, and the numbers must have been called and marked on your ticket. ‘Not yet’ tells you how many marked numbers your closest ticket still needs, or that you still have to tap the called numbers.
Can I use this for a home game with paper tickets?
Yes. The 90-ball bingo ticket generator prints strips of 6 for paper play, and the bingo caller draws numbers from 1 to 90 on screen.
How fast are the numbers called?
Choose Manual to call each number yourself with Next number or the Space key, or let the game call every 2, 3, 5 or 8 seconds. Faster speeds are good practice for keeping up in a busy hall.
Can I see the traditional bingo calls?
Yes. With Show bingo call names on, the traditional UK call appears under each ball, such as “Two fat ladies” for 88 or “Legs eleven” for 11.
